Welcome to the Suffolk County Criminal Justice Connection. On this site you can ask questions about your legal rights, Suffolk County’s Criminal Court, the Mass. Court System, and post your own stories about the impact of crime and justice in your community. Maura and her advisory board will address your questions, concerns, or find someone who can respond.

I would love to watch a trial, am I allowed to sit in the courtroom?  

Yes. Court case are open to the public. There are a few restrictions: no food or beverages and cell-phones must be turned off.  

Does the clerk’s office allow High School or College interns?

Yes. The Clerk’s Office encourages students to apply for internships.
